Gabriel commenced teaching at UIG soon after he completed a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and Interpreting/Translation at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Before joining UIG, Gabriel taught at a high school and university language center. At UIG, he teaches IELTS preparation to help students achieve the IELTS score they need to study abroad and Academic English courses to help students gain the necessary academic skills to succeed in their tertiary studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

As a passionate and dedicated English teacher, Herman is interested in how to better equip students with the English skills they need for university and workplace success. Herman has assumed different roles in his academic career including teacher, vernacular researcher and academic coordinator tasked with managing teachers and curriculum. These different roles have helped Herman develop an understanding of the multifaceted nature of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Fitria is passionate about languages, culture and education and enjoys working with English learners of different ages and language backgrounds. Rita began her career in education as an English teacher, soon after earning her MBA degree in Malaysia. Advancing her career, she became an academic manager and teacher trainer with the International Test Center (ITC), the country master distributor for TOEFL iBT in Indonesia. With extensive teaching experience and a Cambridge CELTA certification, she is well-equipped to teach both children and adults in a dynamic learning environment.

A longtime PR and corporate communications specialist working with many multinational agencies, Hoerry finds that his passion for teaching English has never dissipated. Amid his busy activities, he still manages to teach the Saturday classes at UIG, at which lively classroom interaction and discussion are encouraged. Due to his many years of schooling in the US, he is able to speak English and Indonesian with equal fluency.
